Thanksgiving 2011

In keeping up with our tradition of spending Thanksgiving somewhere different every year, we spend this year at Ryan's dads house!

It was great! Family from Florida flew in and we cooked all day long and then enjoyed way too much delicious southern food, followed by a few rounds of LCR and pie.

I had a great time cooking with Ryans Aunt and Uncle, talking and learning old family recipes.

 

A little slice of GRACE

I love to watch Madyson dance, she's so graceful from her toes to the very tips of her fingers....

I also love to watch her stretch! She's insane!

This time of year = school projects!

Makenna had to do a book report with a paper towel puppet of the main character from the book.

No surprise she selected a Fancy Nancy book!

Why DADDY'S souldn't pack lunches

Ethan informed me that Dad's just shouldn't pack kids lunches!

I asked him why? What did Daddy pack you?

In a not amused manner, he answered, "He was packing my lunch and told me I had choices! I don't like his choices! That's why I am telling you Dad's shouldn't pack lunches. EVER!"

I started laughing and said, Well what were your choices?

Exasperated he said, "Peanut butter and boogers, Jelly and jalapenos or Banana and mustard!"

Restoration HELL

7 weeks after our master tub leaked this is what our house still looks like:

Dealing with insurance companies, contractors and restoration companies sucks.

They don't do anything they say their gonna do and defiantly don't do said things when they said their gonna do them!

He's such a joiner!

Every day I am amazed at what a joiner Christian is! He is so social with both adults and his peirs.

He loves being involved in his high-school's ASB.  He is a representative for the Freshman class.

He loves playing soccer.  He plays for a local organization and tried out yesterday for the JV team at school. 

He is extremely involved in boyscouts.  In fact he gets his LIFE rank on Dec 7th, so next step EAGLE!

Halloween 2011

This year only 3 of our little chicklings wanted to dress up and go trick or treating! Christian's too cool for that so he stayed home and passed out candy with his cousin Grant.

Madyson was Little Miss Wonderland,

Makenna Jean was the cuttest little Lady Bug,

And Ethan was a scary glow in the dark Skeleton!

We went to our church and walked the harvest carnival there while the kids played games and collected candy. My parents even came for a little while

Then we went home and walked door to door through the neighborhood. Went to a neighbor's haunted house and enjoyed visiting with some of the neighbors.

All in all a good night!
